In 2026 the antidetect browser market shifted from a race for the number of features toward quality, usefulness and comfort. Anti-fraud systems have grown smarter, requirements for digital fingerprints have become stricter, and users are moving away from solutions with questionable security that overload the system.
Against this backdrop, a comparison of two prominent players — AdsPower and Vision — is especially telling. The first is known to many as one of the oldest players on this market. An antidetect browser is specialized software for creating isolated profiles, each with its own digital fingerprint. Every profile stores a set of data used to identify the device:

AdsPower is an antidetect browser from a development team based in Hong Kong. It launched in 2019. As of August 2026, its creators claim on the official page that it has a huge number of users worldwide — but all antidetect browsers combined would likely not add up to even half of that audience, and any attempt to verify these figures (the number of active followers on social media, an analysis of public metrics, the number of reviews) makes it clear that the claims are certainly a marketing gimmick.
The browser supports English, Russian and 8 more languages. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux.
AdsPower's official website states that in Trustpilot's TrustScore rating the browser scored 4.8 out of a possible 5. But on Trustpilot itself, AdsPower's rating is unavailable "due to violations of the platform's guidelines."
Badges like this are given to companies caught mass-faking positive reviews.
If you analyze the comments on that same Trustpilot, the high ratings come from users of few words, whereas the low ratings come from far more eloquent customers.
Vision is an antidetect browser created by our team of independent experts in IT and anti-fraud systems. Development of the project began in 2022, and on March 15, 2024, after more than two years of active development and two rounds of open testing, the project reached its release. Let's check whether the AdsPower and Vision antidetect browsers have any problems generating a digital fingerprint. To do this we'll run the simplest possible test — creating a macOS profile. All Apple computers have fixed configurations, so checking a fingerprint for realism won't be a problem even for a user who isn't well versed in hardware nuances.
For the test we'll pick from the configurations the browser itself offers in advance, rather than manually configuring a profile where you can choose the hardware yourself. The test bench is a MacBook Pro with an M3 Pro chip.
Literally on the first click of the fingerprint-generation button, AdsPower offered us a Mac mini with a 16-core CPU and 8 GB of RAM on Intel processor architecture.
A huge inconsistency is immediately obvious here — the maximum number of cores in Intel-based Mac mini computers (the 2018 model) was 6 cores (an Intel Core i7 processor). Only the professional Mac Pro desktop line came with 16/24/28 cores.
Moreover, as we can see on Apple's website, the minimum amount of memory for this machine is 32 gigabytes.
The conclusion is simple: AdsPower uses primitive generation, where the fingerprint parameters are randomly assembled from a database of options without any additional checks.
This approach risks a ban on popular platforms or, at the very least, heightened attention to your account on any site, because the resource will see a computer that simply cannot exist in reality. The spoofing of parameters becomes obvious the moment you land on a site.
Checkers like BrowserScan.net also return rather poor results. The funniest thing about this situation is that BrowserScan is a checker made by the AdsPower team.
Now let's do the same in Vision — the simplest test, clicking through different macOS configurations.
When automatic fingerprint selection is used, Vision will never offer parameters that cannot exist for a given configuration. For example, for macOS with an M1 chip, the RAM is capped at 16 GB and the core count at 8.
Any doubts about a specific fingerprint can be dispelled by visiting Apple's official website and checking the real hardware configurations for each model.
Checkers and tests also reveal no inconsistencies — including AdsPower's own checker.
The reason is that Vision uses fingerprints taken from real devices. This approach guarantees that all the fingerprint parameters are logically consistent with one another, since they were taken from a real user on the internet.
UDP proxies are SOCKS5 proxies that support sending packets over the UDP protocol.
Vision has the best implementation of all the browsers on the market — every capability of these proxy servers is fully utilized. Our team made it the most optimized on the market, so that check speed and reliability are noticeably faster compared with competitors' implementations. Just as importantly, we have no Public DNS or any DNS leaks from the system.
Because the browser supports these proxies, all protocols that run over the UDP network protocol will work flawlessly: QUIC, WebRTC, WebTransport.
AdsPower has a feature that disables UDP to prevent your real IP from leaking through WebRTC. In practice, after just a couple of requests the data starts going directly and the user's IP address leaks.
In other words, this is purely a protective feature, not UDP proxy support. The browser simply tries — unsuccessfully — to block UDP traffic.
A browser's core is the foundation on which any given profile is built. This criterion directly indicates which real browser any website will "see" you as when you use your profiles.
AdsPower offers two options to choose from:
Sunbrowser. Built on the Chromium core that's familiar across antidetect browsers.
FlowerBrowser. Built on the Firefox core.
Chromium is one of the most widespread cores; it's used in Chrome, Opera, Microsoft Edge and thousands of other browsers. It's precisely because of this wide adoption that Chromium is the most popular "foundation" for antidetect browsers as well.
Real Firefox's share of usage, on the other hand, is extremely small — less than 7%. Mass profiles built on FlowerBrowser will look unnatural to anti-fraud systems on many sites.
Vision also uses Chromium, but its approach to the implementation is completely different. Our development team took the core as a base and made it as close as possible to the most popular browser in the world — Chrome. Combined with the use of real fingerprints, this greatly increases trust on many popular sites.
Besides Chromium, Vision supports another full-fledged core — Safari, the second most popular browser in the world. This feature opens up a range of possibilities that we've covered separately.
Safari's advantage is that its core doesn't have as many parameters as Chromium (for example, the GPU in any Safari on any device — even on Linux — is an Apple GPU). Because Chrome is the most popular browser, anti-fraud systems try to tailor themselves to it, adding the most cunning checks they can devise for a visitor using Chrome.
In addition, WebRTC, JavaScript and other parameters in Safari are completely different from Chromium. If some of your profiles run on Safari and others on Chromium, it will be harder for the anti-fraud systems of certain especially well-protected sites to detect multi-accounting.
The speed at which cores are updated directly affects the security and naturalness of profiles. If the core lags far behind the current version, that's a serious red flag for anti-fraud systems, because browser users around the world update roughly simultaneously and automatically.
Almost every version of Chrome contains RCE vulnerabilities as well as medium-risk vulnerabilities. Updating the browser promptly is simply vital.
Google updates the Chrome core roughly once a month — the update happens automatically after the browser restarts. If an antidetect browser doesn't try to keep pace with Google, its profiles look outdated. That's dangerous when working with Facebook, Google Ads, TikTok, cryptocurrency exchanges, marketplaces and other sites.
At the time of writing, AdsPower announced the June (June 2–4) update to core 149 in July (July 10) — practically a month and a half after the release. Going by the latest updates in 2026, the average time between Google's release and an AdsPower update is around 5 weeks. That can be considered a very critical delay when working with Facebook, Google and popular sites — a "user" whose browser hasn't been updated like that will stand out sharply from the crowd.
On top of that, AdsPower provides many different old versions of Chrome, most of which are vulnerable in the majority of cases. The risk to users here is enormous. Moreover, old versions trigger practically every anti-fraud system.
Vision adapts to Google's changes faster. For example, on July 4 our team announced an update of the core to Chrome 150. Google itself released it on June 30. And the update with core version 151 was released the day after the worldwide release. We usually try to roll out an update within 5–7 days — which is about how long it typically takes users around the world to update anyway.
Mobile profiles are another important parameter for antidetect browsers — especially for those working with Instagram, TikTok and so on.
AdsPower uses Native Mobile Simulation (NMS) technology. The user selects Android or iOS when creating a profile. The system, however, simply adjusts the User-Agent and other parameters to match a smartphone. The desktop doesn't go anywhere — it's still Chromium or Firefox, and the antidetect browser imitates an Android device or iPhone from a PC.
A solution like this isn't suitable for multi-accounting and will be spotted even by primitive anti-fraud systems.
Vision works in a completely different way. The antidetect browser offers Android digital fingerprints taken from real devices. A profile will use genuine hardware, screen and OS parameters.
You can imitate an Android fingerprint on a desktop, but anti-fraud systems are getting smarter and quickly detect such discrepancies. With Vision, the digital fingerprint is collected from a real device, where all the elements line up with one another. Genuine mobile fingerprints pass the checks of platforms like TikTok — which have learned to detect emulated mobile devices — far better.
For media, media-buying, crypto and SMM agencies, team functionality in an antidetect browser is extremely important.
AdsPower has a classic approach to team management. Profiles are combined into Groups.
Each user can be granted access to and control over one or more groups, depending on their role:
Administrator — full access and control;
Manager — adding members, partially assigning roles, changing access to specific groups and profiles;
Employee — cannot delete, add members or assign roles.
Members are added and roles assigned by invitation. Within a single AdsPower account you can create several groups.
Since 2026, the browser lets you create up to 50 teams from a single account, and each member can belong to several teams. Every group has its own plan, member count, number of profiles and payment options.

Role assignment in Vision's team mode is flexible. Each user is granted rights to manage folders or the team. You can allow a member, for example, to create and view profiles but forbid editing.
At the folder-management level, you can allow an account to work with all folders and profiles or with only a specific one, and set individual permissions or restrictions.
Vision has no limit on the number of teams you can create, and the app interface makes it easy to switch between personal and team mode. Large teams only need to buy a single plan with the required number of users — the rest of the members are simply invited to the team.
Smart fingerprints are something Vision can be proud of — and something AdsPower doesn't have.
AdsPower uses standard fingerprint generation and masking across more than 50 parameters. When creating a profile you can choose between:
"Real" — the antidetect browser takes the data from your working device;
"Replace" — generates fake digital fingerprints to match the proxy.
The "Real" mode is useless for mass account creation. Anti-fraud systems will see that all the accounts log in to the platform from the same computer.
Vision acts in a completely different, smarter way:
It selects parameters as naturally as possible to match your working computer's hardware;
It uses databases of real device fingerprints that have already passed verification;
It automatically sets parameters depending on the chosen OS.

Let's move on to a more detailed analysis of specific features — for clarity, we'll look at several popular tools.
Human Type is a feature that imitates human text input.
In Vision the user pastes text, and the antidetect browser types it like a real user. It doesn't just add delays — it also takes into account:
typos and the ways they're corrected;
natural pauses after punctuation marks or after a completed thought;
the distance between keys;
keyboard shortcuts for quickly typing special characters, and so on.
The Human Typing Detector v2.0 service judged the text input in the Vision profile to be human.
AdsPower also has its own feature for human-like text input, with an adjustable speed.
But the keystrokes all have the same timing, and while the Human Typing Detector v2.0 still considers the user human, more advanced checkers like https://check.trusttrash.website/ expose the automated typing.
The Synchronizer is a feature that helps you perform identical actions across all profiles at once. A useful tool when you need to scale.
In AdsPower this feature is underdeveloped. The antidetect browser's team admits the tool can malfunction:
the "Operation failed: Config initialization failed" error;
inability to synchronize the navigation bar;
scrolling problems in "Overlap" mode;
limitations on macOS and with the Firefox core.
If the documentation openly mentions errors, then AdsPower's synchronizer works frankly poorly. In real testing, too, the error typical of antidetect synchronizers — context windows "sticking" — keeps coming up.
Although Vision's "Synchronizer" is still in beta, it already works better than many competitors.
There are no profile-synchronization problems in Vision. During testing, no desyncing or window sticking was observed — while developing it, we were aware of this childhood ailment of many synchronizers and avoided it.
Notes are a vital tool when working in an antidetect browser. They help keep your profile lists organized, find the right profile in seconds, and store data for auto-filling various information (logins / passwords / 2FA codes / crypto-wallet details, etc.), as well as hold any information you enter that you might need for your work.
In AdsPower, notes can be used when creating a profile or group. For each profile you can add tags for quick searching. Integration with autofill is weak — you have to type the text manually or use third-party extensions.
In Vision, notes can be created and edited both from the main menu and directly inside a profile.
For convenience, the text can be formatted: you can add headings and lists, change the font size and type, highlight important data with a particular color, and so on.
With the Vision AutoFill feature you can quickly fill in the values you need — logins and passwords, for example — as well as generate and insert 2FA codes.
When working in a profile, you simply right-click on a site, choose AutoFill from the drop-down menu and click the data you need to have entered automatically. Another plus with Vision is that the data is entered using Human Type, so anti-fraud systems don't suspect any deception.
AdsPower has a Virtual Camera feature that lets you upload a video of up to 4 GB. The feature activates automatically when sites request camera access.
When Virtual Camera is enabled, the browser replaces the real camera on a site with the uploaded video.
The feature is inconveniently placed — you have to open "Global settings" and scroll the page down. It only works on paid plans and on core version Chrome 140 or later.
AdsPower's Virtual Camera supports the video formats:

If your clip is in a different format, you'll have to install extensions or utilities to convert the video.
Vision also has built-in video-stream spoofing. Besides the video formats found in the competitor, you can also use a static image for spoofing.
You can test this feature using special services such as Webcam Test, for instance. The profile uses a video from your downloads, and the real webcam is turned off. Our implementation of this feature supports resolution selection, zoom and moving the "lens."
The service confirms that the camera is genuine.
The spoofing looks as realistic as possible.
And in update 3.7.1 we added improved webcam control, including a preview, cropping, zooming and resolution selection for the spoofed video.
In terms of how thoroughly its various features are developed, Vision looks more professional and modern. The antidetect browser helps you create a digital environment as close as possible to real human behavior.
Uptime is the amount of time a service runs without failures, expressed as a percentage. The higher the figure, the more stable the antidetect browser.
AdsPower doesn't publish any uptime information. What you will find in chats and on forums, however, are complaints about unstable performance.
In a single chat, July 2026 alone racked up more than 20 complaints about the browser performing poorly.
The problems vary. Some complain that the app doesn't work on a MacBook.
Others talk about endless loading.
There are complaints that the browsers throw errors on startup.
Vision doesn't hide its real uptime, which has held at 99.9% for over a year now.

For convenience and speed, Vision created a support chatbot on Telegram, along with a widget on the website. Working hours are 9:00 to 21:00 GMT+3. The bot answers standard questions, and for complex problems real technical-support specialists step in.
The team reacts fast and offers ways to resolve issues, with an average response time of no more than 2 minutes. Outside working hours you can try to find answers in the official chat — the lead developer and the project team often help users even at night.
In January 2025, AdsPower became the main face of a financial scandal. A hacker attack on the service lasted from January 21 to 24 and led to crypto-wallet extensions being compromised. Total customer losses came to more than $4.7 million. After January 24, 2025, AdsPower replaced the malicious plugins and promised to strengthen its security measures. A number of updates have indeed been carried out, according to the team.
Vision has never suffered a breach — the security of our users is one of our top priorities. All data in our browser is securely encrypted, which guarantees absolute data safety with no possibility of leaks — even the project's development team couldn't access your data no matter how much they wanted to.
When working with AdsPower, the system load is high. On low-end computers the app constantly takes a long time to load and lags.
If you open the task manager, it becomes clear that AdsPower consumes more resources even with a single profile.
The AdsPower app alone (with no profiles) consumes 457.4 MB of memory, and CPU usage on the test computer is 4.2%.
Thanks to optimization, Vision doesn't overload the system, and the app runs stably.
For comparison: the app takes up 32.4 MB of memory, and CPU load is just 0.6%. A single profile with 13 tabs takes from 90 MB of memory and 24% CPU.
As a result, this fairly simple test shows a 14-fold advantage for Vision in resource consumption.
AdsPower doesn't offer a trial period, but there is a Free plan on which you can create two profiles for free and use them with functional limitations (no video-stream spoofing, for example).
